TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – A Terre Haute dog has refused to give up her spot for a new road.
Earlier this week, living room officials decided to build a temporary road on the couch, claiming eminent domain if any issues were to pop up.
On Saturday, when crews attempted to build the road a yellow lab named Anya refused to move.
That spat caused two-year-old Alexander Essex to build the road on top of the pup.
Witnesses say the dog sat quietly while the toddler placed the road on her head.
“It was crazy, I thought she would move. I guess I was wrong about her,” Xander the cat said.
The road has since been put away.
There’s no word on if they plan to rebuild.
