TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – Parents were on the scene of a two-toddler crash.
It happened around 6:00 at the Deming Park playground in Terre Haute.
According to parents on the scene two-year-old Alex Essex ran directly into another unknown little girl.
Parents were able to respond quickly and quickly console both children.
Parents say both toddlers took off at a run at the same time, not looking where they were going.
“It kind of happened in slow motion,” Alex’s dad Chris said. “I wish I would have acted faster…in the end it just happened too quickly.”
No serious injuries were reported in the crash.
Both toddlers were held by parents until they stopped crying.
Juice or gummies did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
